Moulin Rouge

Did you know that the Moulin Rouge was a cabaret that was built back in 1889 by a guy name Joseph Oller.  Mr. Oller also owned the Paris Olympia which is settling in the Red Light District of Pigalle.

Also the famous can-can was also the birth place of the Moulin Rouse.  This dance was originally introduced for its seductive movements by courtesans.  The can-can dance later evolved into a form of entertainment that has lead to what we call the cabarets of today.

Today of course the Moulin Rouse is a travel destination that offers music, dance and adult entertainment from around the world.  All this action takes place in a very romantic country called France.  All of these venues are internationally famous made possible by the French and is believed to be the home of the can-can.
